Berg Prestegård

Trondheim Christian Student Fellowship (TKS) owns a building of its own. The house is a large old minister's residence from the 19^th century, 75 meters above sea level. The farm is mentioned as early as in the saga of Sverre, when Karl Sverkersson was killed here in 1197. There is no farming on Berg anymore, and the barn has burned down. Today, Berg is the center of the activity of Laget.

Rental

The hall and the kitchen can be booked for private events. The facilities are suitable for meetings with up to 100 persons. For your convenience, we suggest a maximum of 50 persons if you host a party or dinner at Berg.

The price difference between meetings and parties is due to the added effort put in by our janitor when the house is rented out for parties.

Members of TKS pay half of the price by private reservation of the house.

The house

The hall, the small living room and the hall are located on the ground floor. In addition, there are three rooms for students, separated from the rest of the ground floor. The first floor contains several different sections, i.e. offices for the NKSS Staff Workers in Midt-Norge,a flat for the janitor at Berg, a café, a library/TV-room, and a prayer room. The upstairs rooms are not available for rent, as they are should be accessible for the members of TKS at all times. An exception, however, is the vacant offices that are still available for long-term rental. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with many old trees, football and volleyball fields, and the yard with the garage and parking space for several cars.

Organization

The House Management Team consists of a NKSS staff worker, two Laget student members, a former member of Laget and the janitor. Get in touch with the House Management Team at: hus[at]laget.net.

The maintenance of the house is performed by the Maintenance Team. Sometimes, we need people to paint, keep the garden in shape, and another tasks that are nice to do together. If you have any questions, send an e-mail to the mangagement team, hus#laget.net. .
